Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project Film Festival

Brava Theater Center, 2781 24th St, San Francisco
Through film, queer women and transgender people of color authentically represent their visions, voices, and life stories. We support Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project by providing child care on Friday night at the launch of the festival.

Charlie's Corner Fun Run &
Special Outdoor Story Time

9:30am – 10:30am
It's the inaugural annual Fun Run by Charlie's Corner the Noe Valley independent childrens' and YA book store. They're asking for a $15 donation, and all proceeds will benefit Our Family Coalition! Gather at Charlie's Corner; the run winds up at nearby Noe Valley Town Square, where there'll be a special outdoor story time.

San Mateo Pride

We're excited to join up with San Mateo County Pride Initiative for this Penninsula celebration once again. It features music, comedy, food trucks, community resources, and family-friendly activities, including a jumpy house.

Frameline Family Matinee: Coco

Roxie Theater, 3117 16th St, San Francisco
11am – 2pm 
This year's family film is Academy Award-winning Coco, which we co-present along with Somos Familia and the Cine+Mas SF Latino Film Festival. Coco follows twelve-year-old Miguel's musical, colorful journey to the afterlife and his great-great-grandfather's legacy. Come early for special Pixar giveaways.

Coming Up Queer

We're co-presenting these six short films along with Gender Spectrum. Each celebrates queer, trans, and non-binary youth and young adults of diverse backgrounds and experiences: DaríoDani BoiErin's Guide to Kissing GirlsThe ToothmansSweet and Sour, and Mrs McCutcheon. They'll inspire and delight, taking the viewer through journeys with love interests, classmates, families, and communities.

Trans Family Taco Picnic

Hellen Diller Playground, Mission Dolores Park, San Francisco
12pm – 2pm
Join trans, gender nonconforming, and non-binary parents and their families for a fun picnic at Dolores Park before the Trans March festivities get underway. Bring a blanket and your favorite beverage; OFC will provide tasty chicken and vegetarian tacos. Find us by the playground!

Trans March

Mission Dolores Park, 19th St. at Dolores St., San Francisco
3pm – 6pm
Your family can be part of one of the largest trans events in the country! At the youth and elder area before the march, join other trans families, including both trans parents, caregivers, and their families, and gender-expansive kids and their families. There'll be face painting, snacks, and juice on hand, as well as poster-making materials for the march. Then march together in an informal contingent.

Dyke March Potluck Brunch

Kick off your Dyke March Day – or begin and end it! – with a relaxed, potluck brunch with the family. We gather near the entrance of Dolores Park's fabulous fun-for-big-and-little-kids playground. Bring a dish to share; OFC will provide bagels, coffee, and OJ.

Join the best family contingent in the best LGBTQ Pride Parade in the nation. We've been marching in it for decades, and have the whole family-friendly thing down! You bring the kids and whatever handmade signs you might like, we bring a bunch of PROUD OF MY FAMILY signs and spirit galore. OFC's Pride Family Garden 

McAllister & Larkin – note new location – Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco
11am – 4pm
Enjoy a kid-friendly, kid-centric family haven in the center of the Civic Center Pride celebration hubbub. This year's Family Garden will offer arts, crafts, face painting, a cool play structure, and family-filled oasis within the huge Pride party. Due to ongoing renovations in Civic Center, we're in a new spot this year (again!). Look for the Family Garden directly opposite the Asian Art Museum at McAllister & Larkin.

Habitot Pride Day

Habitot Children's Museum, Berkeley
10am – 1pm
Meet and play together with dozens of other LGBTQ families in this afternoon of fun and community-building at Habitot, the little kid playspace in downtown Berkeley. Infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their grown-ups climb, explore, paint, splash, and play. Lights snacks provided, $10 suggested donation, though no one turned away for lack of funds.

Oakland Pride Parade & Family Garden

Parade: Broadway & 14th; Garden: Franklin & 21st, Oakland
10am – 4pm
Our families lead off this very family-friendly pride parade (directly behind the bubble-spewing Fairyland Train), which lasts just a few blocks, quite do-able for the littler among us. The Family Garden is inside Oakland Pride's Festival area, which has an admission fee of $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. We always have a limited number of free Festival tickets; contact Nadi for further info.
