Our Family Coalition advances equity for the full and expanding spectrum of LGBTQ families and children through support, education, and advocacy.

Our Family Coalition is a 501(c)3 organization

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF LAND: Most of our work takes place in San Francisco, which is unceded Raymatush Ohlone land, and the East Bay, which is unceded Chochenyo Ohlone land. The theft and occupation of this land is part of a centuries-long genocide. We acknowledge and express gratitude for the Ohlone people who have been living on and working this land for centuries.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF LABOR: We further acknowledge that much of what has made this nation strong– namely its culture, economic growth, and development–has been made possible by the labor of the first 12 generations of Americans of African descent, who between 1607 and 1865 suffered the horror of the transatlantic trafficking of their people and chattel slavery. Following emancipation, Jim Crow and de facto segregation continued to constrain and erase the labor generations more. We are indebted to their work and their sacrifice, and acknowledge the broad, multigenerational impact of that violence, still felt and witnessed today.
