Naomi grew up in the Central Valley of California and will always be a Californian at heart, but she has spent the past 12 years living in the Midwest. Currently, Naomi lives in Ann Arbor with her Libby and their son, where they enjoy hiking in all types of weather, swimming in Lake Michigan, and caring for their two dogs, two cats, and a fish.
For her entire career, Naomi has worked to advance LGBTQ policy, including for LGBTQ families, through her work first at the Williams Institute and now at the Movement Advancement Project where she is deputy director and leads the LGBTQ program. She believes strongly in the power of data to break down silos and the ability of stories to change hearts and minds.
Naomi also serves as the VP for social action for her local Jewish congregation and is the LGBTQ Liaison to the City of Ann Arbor.
