Candace earned her BA in Communication with a minor in Spanish from Pepperdine University and an MA in Latin American Studies with a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She has lived many lives and in many places, and currently calls the SF Bay Area home. She serves on the Board of Directors at LYRIC Center for LGBTQQ+ Youth in San Francisco. Outside of her nonprofit work, Candace is a food creative and has a small business catering intimate dinner parties and making homemade, original-recipe conchas.
