Queer Women of Color Film Festival

Year after year we've been at the Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project's Queer Women of Color Film Festival. This year we're not able to provide childcare, but we'll be on hand and do hope to see some of you there!

We’re kicking off pride month in style, as the community host of maybe the biggest cinematic family friendly event of the year! We’re proud to co-present Pixar’s Lightyear as part of #Frameline46.

Trans March Youth & Family Space

Trans kids, trans parents, everyone that loves us: come hang out and frolic before the Trans March in beautiful Dolores Park. We've got an Intergenerational TransNation Booth, where you can learn about diverse gender stories from arorund the world (and add your own!), a button-making table where you can create gender buttons to let the world know about your identity and your pronouns, a voice coach who can help you shape your voice into the expression you want, and gender affirming makeup by trans artists and drag queens/kings!

SF LGBTQ Pride Parade Contingent

Pride is BACK IN PERSON, y'all! Register now for OFC's family contingent in the Pride Parade! Afterwards, be sure to visit OFC's Pride Family Garden at the Pride Celebration in Civic Center Plaza. Click here for more information about the 2022 San Francisco Pride Parade.

Stay tuned for more details about our contingent number and meet-up time! We'll tell you as soon as we find out!

Watch this safety training video if you're planning to march with us during the Pride Parade. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen, water, a hat, and a small bag to carry any belongings. Please note that if you plan on attending the Pride celebration in Civic Center after the march, you will still need to go through festival security, which prohibits bags larger than 18"x18".

A note about entrance into Civic Center festival area:

Since 2016 (and Orlando), entrance to the Civic Center festival area has included airport-style security, and anyone entering will be subject to screening. Note that the following items are officially prohibited:

any bag or container over 18" x 18" (a toughie for diaper bags, but doable: pack light & tight!), alcohol, coolers or glass bottles, illegal drugs or substances, hazardous or toxic materials firearms, fireworks, explosives, drones, weapons, knives, impact or electric pulse weapons, stunning devices, radios, walkie-talkies, jammers, scanners, portable speakers, or any item deemed inappropriate or hazardous by law enforcement or security.
