Martin Mitchell is Director of Human Resources Operations for Oakland Unified School District. He’s a transformational leader with a career marked by success in human resources (HR) operations, recruitment, policy development/implementation, and compensation/classification. He is a trusted strategic partner and senior leadership advisor, and highly effective around organizational policy, union relations, employment law, compliance issues, and complex legal matters. Martin received an MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University, and a BA from Howard University. He and his husband are proud dads of a teenage son.
