Ayah is the Programs Director at Our Family Coalition (OFC), where she brings over 20 years of expertise in systems design, community development, strategic partnerships, and program building across public and private sectors. A dynamic problem solver, Ayah has a proven track record of building innovative programs and businesses from the ground up, with a focus on sustainability and long-term impact. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to ensuring that all communities—particularly those that are often overlooked—are given the tools and support to flourish. Ayah’s experience includes program development, donor engagement, and strategic fundraising efforts, which have secured vital resources for various programs and initiatives.
At OFC, Ayah oversees a diverse range of programming, including wellness initiatives, youth services, LGBTQ+ family support, education, policy, and advocacy efforts. She has been instrumental in scaling programs that meet the evolving needs of the community while working closely with grantors to ensure thorough reporting and compliance. Ayah also develops innovative, affirming programming that supports LGBTQ+ families, ensuring every participant feels seen and supported..
Ayah’s leadership spans a wide array of sectors, from food justice and holistic health to policy advocacy and education. She has led groundbreaking projects that tackle pressing issues such as food insecurity, obesity, and wellness, while also creating platforms for educational funding through scholarships, internships, and fellowships. Her experience extends to managing large-scale fundraising campaigns and developing successful partnerships with corporate sponsors, government agencies, and community-based organizations. Ayah holds a B.A. in African American Studies with a concentration in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA in Strategy and Innovation from California State University, East Bay.
